Description
Meeting in Pooley Bridge we will drive you to Glenridding and then paddle the length of Ullswater (7 miles) in approximately 3 hours. We use our Wilderness System Northstar tandem sea kayaks for the journey which are extremely stable, fast and very manoeuvrable in all conditions. We do have some single sea kayaks available for the more experienced paddler. The journey down the lake is not a race but a nice enjoyable scenic trip at a pace that you can simple take in all of the splendour – there is plenty of it! On approaching Pooley Bridge village we make a quick call to place our order at the newly refurbished Crown Inn which is ideally located right on the River Eamont where we finish.
