The Wharfedale Wander helicopter flight is available from The Craven Heifer. The flight covers the familiar Yorkshire Dales National Park landscape of England’s most dramatic limestone cliffs and escarpments, picturesque villages and valleys with fields criss-crossed by dry-stone walls and barns dotted randomly. You will fly at an altitude of around 1500 feet, and enjoy unrivalled views of some of Yorkshire’s most spectacular scenery. Depending on the chosen flight you will see sights such as:

Wandering up the Upper Wharfedale Valley covering Cracoe, Threshfield, Grassington, Kilnsey, Kettlewell, Starbottom and Buckden and then tracking on to Malham Cove, Gordale Scar with the amazing limestone pavement looking spectacular from the air, the village of Malham itself with return to Cracoe.
The pretty villages of Appletreewick and Burnsall are also covered.

Unfortunately as the controls are ‘live’ we do in the interests of safety, have to check the suitability of passengers for the Co-Pilot seat. Disabled, infirm / very elderly people or passengers over 16 stones in weight, are not normally able to occupy the co-pilot seat. By continuing and selecting this seat you are confirming the passenger does not fall within any of these categories

Vouchers may be transferred to another passenger, but are not refundable due to weather and unforeseen circumstance cancellations. The tickets become re-validated for a further 12 months from any date of cancellation by ourselves.
