Description
The Wharfedale Wander helicopter flight is available from Jackson’s Farm Shop. The flight covers the familiar Yorkshire Dales National Park landscape of England’s most dramatic limestone cliffs and escarpments, picturesque villages and valleys with fields criss-crossed by dry-stone walls and barns dotted randomly. You will fly at an altitude of around 1500 feet, and enjoy unrivalled views of some of Yorkshire’s most spectacular scenery. Depending on the chosen flight you will see sights such as:

The charming villages of Threshfield and Grassington which is at the heart of the Upper Wharfedale Valley.
The spectacular Kilnsey Crag watching over the fields below where the annual show is held.
The pretty village of Kettlewell now the location for the hit movie Calendar Girls and its well-known annual Scarecrow Festival. Starbottom and Buckden are reached before returning on a similar route back to Cracoe.
